One of Sydney's oldest pubs — licensed 1841, rebuilt 1917, shuttered from 1983 to 2018 — reopened by Pyrmont locals David Mathlin and Binu Katari after a two-year heritage restoration. Rooms above the bar, $20 steaks Mondays, $6 tacos Thursdays. The beer garden takes dogs. Vera's handles the cocktails. Open from noon, seven days.
