On thirty-seven acres of waterfront on South Bruny Island, this off-grid retreat looks out across the D'Entrecasteaux Channel to the Tasmanian ranges. Two child-free hideaways sit on the land — the Shack, a rustic cabin pared back to the essentials, and the Hide, a more polished, coastal-luxury bolthole — each with a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, fresh linen, books and games, and a wild stony beach at the doorstep. The Bruny Baker on site turns out wood-fired sourdough daily. It's a place made for couples, with elopements and small weddings hosted too.
