Cassawong Cottages

At Wongaling Beach, the beachside stretch of Mission Beach on the tropical Far North Queensland coast, six self-contained cottages sit among rainforest and tropical gardens around a lagoon-style pool. Two are one-bedroom and four are two-bedroom, each with a full kitchen, ensuite, air-conditioning and a private courtyard or deck, and all are dog-friendly. Southern cassowaries wander freely through the area. It's a quiet, independently run base for the beach, the reef and Dunk Island offshore.
