Candlebark Ridge

On eighteen acres of native bush in the foothills of South Sister, north of St Marys on Tasmania's east coast, this adults-only tiny home is fully off-grid: solar and battery, rainwater, a composting toilet and greywater recycling. A wall of windows and an outdoor deck with a soaking bath frame views over farmland to the Tasman Sea. Inside it is small but well provisioned, down to the Moccamaster and pantry basics. Two-night minimum, all-wheel-drive to reach it, and no one but the wildlife for company.
